CDE Music was founded on the vision of teaching students beyond just music. Ourheadmaster, Miriam Chandra Kuswanto, who has almost 40 years of experience in music education, formed the music school in 2005. CDE Music is one of the most recognized music schools in Indonesia that specializes in music education.

We provide Internal & International Exam. Since 2017, CDE has been recognized as an Exam Centre for TRINITY College London in the Serpong area.  CDE Music has graduated a number of students, some with profession of teacher, church musician & professional, etc.

CDE Music provides both Classical and Contemporary (Pop & Jazz) courses for instruments such as: Piano, Violin, Guitar, Saxophone, Flute, Clarinet, Cello,Contra Bass, Drum, Digital Music Production, Vocal from Induction to Diploma level. We take in students from
age 4. For age 4 – 5, we provide a premium Children’s Music Course, “Music for Little Mozart”. For Diploma TRINITY & ABRSM, we provide two diploma subject.
Music Performance and Instrumental Teaching, and also guidance for Programme Notes and Viva Voce. CDE Music classes are mostly done through individual and small group ensemble coaching. Our system is proven successful in developing students’ confidence as a musician
through individual learning, active learning, analytical learning, and performing. Our teaching method includes Aural Training (Hearing), Improvisation and Keyboard Harmony.

For these years, we are fortunate to have many dedicated teachers and parents who had given us their trust and support. We strive to provide opportunities for every student to develop their interest in music. At CDE Music, we believe that exposure is the most important aspect in the learning process. We constantly look at how we can better maximize students’ potential as we prepare them for the higher level of music
learning.

Our students have achieved commendable performance at the ABRSM music board of London examinations.

We have formed our own choir and ensemble comprising of piano, violins, saxophone, flute, and guitar students. With this ensemble, students get to play together and perform at public events as a small orchestra. Their recent performances include the CDE Open House, Student’s Annual Concert and many more.

For the coming years, we will continue to focus on the holistic development of our students, providing them with a range of quality educational experiences, nurturing them into lifelong learners, and building up their interest in playing music.

Prospective Students
Every year, CDE organizes numerous events involving all of the students. Some of these events are Master Classes, Class Concerts, Public Performances, Student’s Gathering Concerts and Student’s Annual Concerts. Prospective students can also expect to have many performing opportunities.
